A Note from Youth Ministry...

Words cannot begin to capture my excitement as I’ve been extended this great opportunity to serve as your youth
minister. In a seemingly short amount of time, I have gained a strong sense of community, having seen it animated in
your smiles and echoed in your hospitality. To say the least, this Bellpoint family closely resembles the church family
I grew up with.
Since childhood, my spiritual life was nurtured within the United Methodist Church. I was raised in the small town,
rural churches of West Virginia under a most loving mother, Roberta and my father, Gary, whom continues to serve as a part-time
licensed local pastor. My younger brother, Justin and older sister, Johnna (along with myself) have been fortunate enough
to be raised in a family whose foundation is built on the love of Jesus Christ. Being part of a small, close-knit congregation
has ultimately helped us to know and understanding the meaning of “family.”
As I continue taking steps in this position, it is my hope that I may become more acquainted with your family.
This is an undoubtedly exciting time for Bellpoint UMC as investments have been made to grow and expand the church’s
ministries. Recent observation has also confirmed for me that you wisely invest in the spiritual health of your youth—our
tomorrow. Bellpoint has every reason to be proud of its personnel and the kids’ deep commitment, motivation, and
constant thirst for spiritual enrichment. With your support and God’s guidance, I am committed to helping our
youth become stronger disciples for Christ. Furthermore, I pray that our communal efforts aid in allowing them to develop
evangelistic voices that proclaim the Gospel in profound, yet practical ways. Again, God bless you all for this opportunity
and I anticipate my own spiritual development as we come, grow and go to mirror God’s grace in the world.
